Welcome to the most brutal, the most amazing club on dA devoted to all that is Dethklok and Metalocalypse.



Rules

You have to like both the show and band [why just like one of them? That's kinda...weird to like just the show and hate the band or the other way around- they make each other up and...ah, screw this circular reasoning. Just like both and we'll accept you] to join the club. It's kind of self-implied.

To join, leave a deviant comment on this page, or send a note to this club account, or send a note to =Skarlet-Raven. Make sure to add the club icon to your journal and spread the word to other Dethklok: Metalocalypse fans!

No belittling other members, disrespecting the administrators, and generally causing chaos in the club. Misbehavior will result in being kicked out of the club or something of that sort.

Submitting to the club is very muchly appreciated, but it's not required. Any art is accepted, even slash and fan-fiction. If you can't grow a spine and put up with all the art [even if you hate pairings and crap], we don't want to deal with the whining, so don't even bother signing up.

Members can submit art by sending a note to one of the administrators or the club with the link[s] to the fan-art; we'll post it up and make sure all credit, faves, and comments go back to the original fan-art and artist.

That should be it for now, rules may change as needed.

- Opinions! How can th' Club be tweaked up and made better for everyone? -

=Skarlet-Raven here. So, we've got ~Dethklok-Fan-Club off to a good start; we have a decent handful of members and lots of art and fan-fiction submissions. Now what?

Well, I'm looking for ways to improve the club. What does everyone want? A club isn't all that much of a good club if the members don't put their feedback in.

Personally, I think we could spruce up the front page with the Featured Deviation box. As for what goes there...how about we make that by popular opinion, as in by leaving comments on the Journal with the member's personal picks. I suppose under that system, someone could vote for themselves, but...well...something like that. In other words, we should have a featured Deviation that changes frequently to give everyone some time in the spotlight.

A subscription would be nice, with that cool little Shoutboard to collect lots of Dethklok: Metalocalypse stamps and a Shoutbox for even more fun, but that's out of the question as far as money goes for =Skarlet-Raven. We can survive without one, but it'd be a lot spiffier with a sub.

Uploading finally caught up-

Contest time! We're looking for a good devID for the club...so we're asking you all to create one for the club! It'll run until we get enough entries to have some proper competition-

Submit your entries by uploading them to your own dA page and posting the link to the entry in a Journal Comment. Not too hard, huh?

Entries should depict any member or all of Dethklok only [all of Dethklok in the pic is preferred], no OCs and slash [because this isn't just a slash club] please.

Also- yeah...please enter. It's kind of a sad competiton when only about two people have bothered to mention the contest or have gotten started working on said contest.
